THE END OF THE RICENESS

If you live in Ghana, you will know how much we love "fried rice and Chicken." "Jollof rice and Chichen". To be honest, we just like RICE. For a small country we eat an awful lot of rice. In 2011, Ghana imported more rice than North Korean... isn't that just interesting... compare our populations... and note that we also produce some amount of rice.
I'm trying to mix things up a bit. Saying no to rice is not easy but I've found the perfect replacement and I am trying to do to it everything that we make with rice and see how good or bad it turns out. So ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you FRIED WHEAT.

Ingredients
Wheat
Saussage
Chicken
Green pepper
Spring onions
Carrots
Powdered pepper
Soy sauce
Garlic(optional)
Black pepper
Olive oil

Method
Boil about two cups of wheat as you would rice with some soy sauce and salt in it. (Make sure its not too soft and wet when its done)
Dice up chicken and season with some salt, black pepper, powdered pepper, and coriander.
Chop up all the vegetables... (spring onion, Green pepper, onions, carrots)
Chop up garlic
In a large pan, fry chicken till its nice and brown then take it out and set aside
Fry the chopped sausages. Take it out and also set aside.
In the same pan with the oil, toss in garlic stir for about 30 second be cautious that it does not burn, add chopped onions and allow to cook for a minute or two.
Add the rest of the vegetables in this order... Spring onions, green pepper, carrots.
Be sure to leave the spring onions for about 3 mins for the flavour to come out before adding the green pepper also leaving to fry for some time whilst stirring.
Just after the carrots are added, put in the fried chicken and sausage, powered pepper and some black pepper.
Lastly add the boiled wheat, leave to cook for about 3 mins whilst stirring, taste and add some salt if necessary.
