FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS



It been a long time… have you missed me?
I have a lot of recipes and places to write about. Truth is I don’t really know where to start from.
Ok let me start off with breakfast and work may way through the lunch tomorrow the dinner and desserts I have.

This is a really simple dish. I got my inspiration from  Dionne and Mona my friends from the university. D made me try this thing; the Ivoirians call it Dege (Pardon me if it has been misspelled).  Mona also likes it. I think its popular in northern Ghana too but I don't know what it is called there. I didn't get the recipe from someone who makes it but from eating it, I figured it is made somehow like this so I tried it out this way and I loved it. It’s very simple, delicious and highly nutritious.



Ingredients
Wheat
Sugar
Yoghurt (thick)
Cinnamon

Keep yoghurt in freezer for it to get very cold and almost looking like ice cream but not stone frozen
Cook wheat as you would take for breakfast leaving very little liquid in it (personally I like whole wheat and cooked not too soft)
Add some cinnamon when wheat is done and cool
Pour a cup of yogurt and add a ladle of wheat
Add some sugar to you taste
You can serve with some fruits and enjoy
